Empowering African Children through Education

Liberia is the oldest republic in Africa and yet one of the poorest nations. It has one of Africa’s highest rates of illiteracy; public education is not free. Many families are too poor to pay school fees and so put their children to work at menial labor. ADAF’s mission is to change that, to provide a world-class education free of charge at our school in Monrovia and so give Liberia’s children and the country a brighter future through education.

About African Dream Academy Foundation

The African Dream Academy Foundation (ADAF) was established in 2011 with the sole mission to support the African Dream Academy (ADA), a tuition-free, independent, co-ed school located in Monrovia, Liberia. The Foundation was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) corporation in the State of Indiana and is a registered charity in the State of New York. It raises tax-deductible and in-kind donations, which directly support ADA’s annual funding needs, enabling hundreds of Liberian children to receive an education.
